About Melissa

Hello. My name is Melissa, I am currently 36 years old, and a mother of a 14-year-old girl. I have been caring for many children since the age of 15. I started watching my neighbor's children, and now I'm looking for a family to grow with. I have obtained my A. A. S. in Early Childhood Education. I am certified in pediatric first-aid and CPR. I have been a nanny for 9 years now and have had the opportunity to work with twins and children of physical disabilities. Most of my families have been with infants that I watched into toddler years. I am familiar with milestones and transitions. As well as the importance of books and other educational fundamentals of toddlers. I enjoy daily outings with children. Everywhere you go and everything you do, is a learning experience. With that being said, I'd love to find a family that loves having their child out and about. I love museums, parks, play-dates and classes of all types. I look forward to a family I can fit in with.
