About Lorna

I currently am available to provide child care and adult care. My previous postings include many families. The longest job was after school care for 2 boys 2 & 5 for 20 months before they moved away. I started with CARE as a regularly scheduled part-time sitter for a 4-year-old boy. We went to the park for playtime, then home for dinner, bath time and we read stories before bed. Another family needed me when their regular sitter had a family emergency. Which led to other care opportunities with that family as it has grown over the last 10 years. Families mentioned have recommended me to their friends. I have helped vacationing families with an extra pair of hands at the pool or date night for parents. l am grateful for my time with each one of my families. Seeing the children grow and learn is a privilege. Allowing the parents the time to be a couple is important and I enjoy providing that service.
