I am a fun-loving and trustworthy nanny. I am very hands on, enjoy exploring in play and I don't mind getting a little dirty! I love the children I care for as if they were my own, and take great pride in helping them grow developmentally. I have been in the child care industry for 15 years, and have been a professional nanny for 10 years. I have worked in the VPK setting, and in homes with more than one child. This has helped me develop the ability to multitask. When starting with a new family, I make sure to respect the family's typical feeding and napping schedules. I am also an artist, so letting little hands explore with different art mediums and fun crafts is exciting. I am a member of a group called Central Florida nannies that get together often for play dates around the area. Some of the activities I like to engage in are trips to the Aquarium, Science Center, playgrounds, and various libraries for story time. When in the home, I like to spend time fostering the development of young minds with stories, crafts, games, and other fun learning activities. My work history: July, 2011 to present: Full-time nanny for two children, aged 5 and 3.5 currently. Winter 2010 to present: Occasional evening and weekend babysitting for two boys who are now 5 and 7 years old. Spring 2012 to present: Occasional evening and weekend babysitting for two boys now 4 and 6 years old. Fall 2007-July 2011: Full-time nanny for a great family who had twin boys (5 months) and a little girl (3). Spring 2006- Summer 2007: Full time nanny for two boys ages 3 and 8 months. 2005-2006: Full time live in nanny for 4-year-old twins. 2004-2006: Assistant teacher during the day for a VPK program, along with running an after school program in the evening. I typically had 12 to 22 children in my afternoon class, with ages ranging from 4 to 12. ETC Skills: CPR and First Aid certified Basic American Sign Language (ASL) Various courses (early literacy for children, age birth to three, basic guidance and discipline and preschool appropriate practices). Attending a Nanny Conference in Orlando October 2nd-4th, 2015. Future plans: I am enrolling in a program to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant, beginning in January 2016. This program will be completed online and on the weekend. What I live in the Metrowest area in Orlando, have my own vehicle (with a clean driving record) and I am a non-smoker.
