Dianne babysits my 2.5year old son. He was going through a phase of intense separation anxiety and we wanted him to gently transition to a caregiver before he started preschool. Dianne was wonderful with him. She has a lot of experience working with children and is gifted in figuring out how to connect with each child. She loves being outdoors and is extremely energetic, which worked really well with my son's personality as he loves going to parks, walks, etc. She is very resourceful and was able to engage him very well and he got to a point where he looked forward to her visits very quickly as opposed to crying as he did the first week, which seemed almost miraculous to us given his initial separation anxiety. She was instrumental in getting my son to adjust in preschool as he was able to learn that he can trust other adults and have fun with them. She also accompanied him to the preschool to help him transition in the first 3 weeks (twice a week) and the school teachers and Director were also very impressed with her professionalism and her caring attitude towards my son. She genuinely loves children and it is apparent that every child she takes care of is special to her and she goes out of her way to care and nurture the child. She is fantastic!
