Hello! I'm Rochelle, a passionate lover of wee ones! My life's work is their care, assisting their development and supporting the well being of their families. I'm firmly grounded, organized and timely, however that never stands in the way of another sing-song silly lullaby, a wiggly dance, a lizard hunt, an impromptu tea party or the 100th retelling of, "Going On A Bear Hunt." I obtained my 90 hour certification shortly upon graduating from college. I have numerous hours of early childhood education training through workshops and on line coursework. I recently retired from teaching, I've been Nannying since January three days a week, I love it. I raised two kids, they are grown and live out of state. I have experience with all ages. I love to stay busy, actively engaging kids in learning and fun activities. I don't mind going out on little field trips, either. Feel free to contact me so we can talk. I've been caring for children for the past 25 years. I have an undergraduate degree in nursing and a masters in education. I also taught Elementary ESE (Special Education) for 17 years. I enjoy nannying for children, newborn through elementary school. I am engaging and nurturing. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping kids active. I also really enjoy reading with children. I have experience with infants through preschool ages and am available for extended hour shifts, as well as flexible days. Love kids, comfortable with pets, non smoker. I love caring for and teaching children, especially those with special needs. I have worked with many children over the years as a teacher, assistant teacher, nanny, babysitter, and grief counselor.
