Our 6-year-old son has developmental delays that involve mostly behavioral adjustment and some speech/communication difficulty. He and his sister were adopted and he was likely a FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder) baby. He is very active and loving. He is very aware of his normal routine and struggles with change. He does best with someone who is good with redirection, positive, and remains calm with him at all times. We are unaware of the trauma he has experienced in the past prior to transitioning into the foster care system. He loves playing with cars, building legos, and playing outside in active play. He will go into Young 5's in Fall 2019, in Canton.
Our 4-year-old daughter is a very loving and outgoing child. She is a neuro-typical child. She enjoys playing with her brother, playing dolls, and being outside!
