About who needs care: 83-year-old female who has Alzheimer's. She lives by herself and lives a low-key lifestyle. She enjoys puzzles,watching TV, some reading, and is involved in her church. She is on a waitlist for a memory care facility, but that will take several months. She is sweet and easy-going.
About the care needs: Ideal caregiver would be mindful of my mother-in-laws desire to remain involved in her church on whatever level she can. (Caregiver does not need to be a religious person, but it wouldn't hurt.). Caregiver should also understand Alzheimer's and complexities of that. Mother-in-law does not usually enjoy outdoor activities, so this should be considered by caregiver.
