We have two precious special needs sons, ages 6 and 4. Our oldest will be starting kindergarten in August, and our youngest will attend preschool program on Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri. of each week 8:50-11:50, and also attend different preschool for the remainder of the school day on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. They will both ride the bus to school, so the caregiver will be responsible for getting them ready for school some days, getting them off the bus most days, preparing lunches, etc.
Our schedule can be flexible in that one of the parents is typically working from home on Mon. and Fri. and can handle getting them ready for school and on the bus. The typical week will average about 35-40 hours/week! The ideal caregiver will have experience in dealing with autism, be CPR certified, & most importantly, loving and patient.
