I am currently employed in a care job and unavailable at this time I am a reliable and flexible semi-retired Licensed Professional Counselor. I am available for tasks including running errands, odd jobs, elder companionship, transportation, house and pet sitting and especially house cleaning. I am one of those people who loves cleaning because of immediate results and it burns calories so I don't have to go to the gym. I am a 50-year-old in excellent physical condition who can provide references for each type of tasks mentioned above. I am easy to get along with, detail oriented and very patient. After 10 years of direct counseling, I spent the last 15 years working at a busy psychology practice as the office manager. I prided myself on assuring a positive experience for clients with the knowledge that they were coming to us hurting. I found I had a strength for multitasking. I gave up this job to tend to my mother and aunt who both eventually ended up on hospice. I loved them dearly and now have a healthy respect for the knowledge and wisdom of seniors. The reason for my interest in providing services through Care.com is that it is no longer necessary for me to return to the work force and, since I tend to be frugal, would love to have a little mad money. I have a recent fingerprint Clearance card and a clean driving record.
