Dear Families, Sarah has been watching our daughter, Z. (16 months old at the moment) full time for the past month or so. She asked us to leave a review to get the word out there so that she can complement her hours with occasional evening/weekend gigs. We are very reluctant to comply because she is so wonderful with Z. that we are afraid that any family she would connect with would lock her in their basement, and only let her out for kid duty until the little ones go to college :) With Sarah Z. has no separation anxiety (it is because of the special relationship they have: Z. clearly protested when we left her with her previous caregivers), and chases her down the block when she leaves the end of the day. Sarah is a real adventurer when it comes to taking care of Z. They spend at lest 4 hours outside every day, dissecting lemons, playing in puddles, watching bugs, and excavators repairing the street. Z. constantly grows and learns with her. Although we speak Hungarian in the home, Z.'s English vocabulary skyrocketed since Sarah is watching her. They make a huge mess every day: the best kind of mess, in which Sarah still keeps order, keeps Z.'s schedule, and systematically teaches her colors, shapes, body parts and the like. Simply, I can't speak more highly of her. I can't imagine really a challenge as far as babies, toddlers or kids of any ages are concerned that Sarah would not be able to overcome. Potty training, teething, sleep training, getting acquainted with new foods - I am sure she will handle it with patience, grace, and most importantly, humor. She is genuine, down to earth, intelligent. We hope that a small part of her personality will always be with Z. Families, please, be considerate, and don't steal Sarah from us :) But we are indeed happy to share the joy. Feel free to reach out if you had any questions about Sarah and her work she has been doing with our daughter.
