Jodi has been a volunteer at our church for the past several years. She is in-charge of our program, which ministers to parents and children, ages birth to three years old. Jodi is an excellent volunteer. She is creative, dependable and pleasant. She is creative in the sense that she develops programs that meet the specific needs of this age group. She is able to assess if a particular activity is age appropriate and she puts a flare of creativity into it. The children love coming to her room as they know they will have fun and learn. She is extremely dependable. When Jodi is in-charge, I know everything will be done in a timely and efficient manner. I never worry that I will enter her room and that things will be unattended or in disarray. She thinks and plans ahead. She is also very pleasant. Volunteering in this age group can be stressful as she is dealing with new parents that may be a bit particular, crying children and on the other hand, very active children. She takes in all in stride. She continues to smile and speak in a sweet, gentle voice, moving everyone along in the program. She is a delightful person and is a pleasure to know.
