I have logged over 5,000 hours working with children, most of them ages 4-12. I spent 5 summers working as a camp counselor at Pine Cove Christian Camps and also worked as the childcare coordinator for one of the weekly ministries at my church. This was a paid position and I held that title for one year. I was in charge of screening/hiring staff, planning weekly activities, supervising the children and childcare workers, as well as the check-in/check-out process. I have been hired for various childcare events including weddings, various church events, and "parents' night out" events. I am very skilled at organizing events and planning activities. I always do my best to provide age appropriate activities for the kids and do everything possible to ensure the safety of the children. I have a lot of experience with knowing how to best structure time for kids.
