Ashley worked for me as a personal assistant for about five years. Ashley's primary responsibility was caring for my, at the time, four young children while I was attending law school. Ashley was responsible and trustworthy and quickly became a part of our family. She treated my children with dignity and respect and she knew how to be the responsible adult without being domineering. Ashley is both compassionate and intelligent. I knew that whenever I left my children with Ashley that she would make decisions that were wise and proper. Ashley built a strong relationship with my children and with me and we often invited Ashley to join us in our family vacations. When Ashley could not come on family vacations with us, Ashley would house sit and take great care of our dog. Ashley also had other responsibilities outside of child care. Ashley frequently ran errands for me. I had no problems or concerns with giving Ashley control of any amount of cash because Ashley had proven herself trustworthy in all areas. Ashley also did light cooking and light housework. Because Ashley proved to be very intelligent, she did computer work for me. Ashley has a broad range of talents and she would always use her gifts to help me to the best of her abilities. At the time that I hired Ashley, I had been a full-time mom and I was home educating my children. Ashley was the first person that I had ever left my children with. Before I met Ashley, I was very nervous about leaving my children with anyone. Hiring Ashley was one of the best things I have ever done. She made a positive impact in my family's life. Ashley stopped working for my children starting going to a traditional school. However, we have kept in contact with Ashley over the years and we still consider her a dear friend of the family. As far as I am concerned Ashley has only improved on all her qualities over the years.
