Millions of fans have seen Rory Feek’s life documented on his blog before and after his wife, Joey, died of cancer last year. But the photo he posted of daughter, Indiana, on Facebook <\/a>recently really tugs at the heartstrings.<\/p>

Feek shared a photo of his daughter, Indiana, watching her late mother sing.<\/p>

“…watching baby, watching mama sing “In The Garden”. Heartbreaking. Healing. Hard to understand,” he captioned it.<\/p>

The post resonated with thousands, who commented that Feek and Indiana were in their thoughts and prayers.<\/p>

“I know it’s heartbreaking, but how wonderful for Indie that she has all these films and videos to see her mom, hear her voice and see her movements. I wish I had that to see my mom again. I’m so glad you did all this taping. What a precious gift for your daughters and you,” one commenter wrote.<\/p>

On Feek’s blog, “This is the Life I Live,” <\/a>he chronicles how he will keep Joey’s presence in their lives — particularly through music.<\/p>

“What do you get a child for their birthday who has everything? Everything that is… except a mama. I got her a piano,” Feek wrote in a post on Indiana’s 3rd birthday party.<\/a><\/p>

“First off, Joey and I want Indy to grow up loving music and learning to play an instrument,” he continued. “Who knows, maybe someday write her own songs on this piano, or at least have fun trying to learn to play it.  Another reason is because with all that’s happened in our lives, there hasn’t been any new music in the house for a long time, and having a piano sitting in the middle of the living room might encourage there to be some.”<\/p>

Feek said although Indiana’s birthday was sad without Joey there, the family still felt her presence.<\/p>

“But like always, in our hearts we felt like she was. That she was celebrating and singing along and dancing with all of us,” he wrote.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
