Can’t bear to be away from your dog? More and more companies are adopting dog-friendly office policies. Here are 15 companies that let you bring your dog to work:

Hundreds of dogs roam Amazon’s<\/a> campus on any given day. And why wouldn’t they? There are doggie water fountains, dog treats at the reception desk and even a small dog park. The Vermont headquarters of Ben & Jerry’s<\/a> has special employees called K-9 to 5’ers, who receive payment in the form of cookies at the reception desk. This company’s office dogs are such valued employees that their professional photos are included on the Big Spaceship<\/a> website’s staff section. In addition to supporting dog shelters and animal rescues through its <\/a>Bissell Pet Foundation<\/a>, <\/a>Bissell<\/a> lets employees bring their pets to the office. Once there, dogs can enjoy the Pet Spot, an indoor dog spa with a play area and bathing stations. Employees at Build-A-Bear’s<\/a> “World Bearquarters” can bring their dogs to work. There are even office birthday parties for the pups, complete with birthday cake and dog treats. The company’s dog-friendly office policy has been in place since 2005. According to Etsy’s<\/a> site, it is part of its efforts to maintain a casual, creative and inspiring work environment. The company’s dog friendliness is written into Google’s<\/a> Code of Conduct: “Google’s affection for our canine friends is an integral facet of our corporate culture. We like cats, but we’re a dog company, so as a general rule we feel cats visiting our offices would be fairly stressed out.” Kimpton<\/a> offers its employees pet insurance and bereavement leave for pet deaths. Pets that go to work with their owners enjoy water bowls, treats, toys and beds. Some Kimpton hotels even have a director of pet relations, an employee-owned dog that greets guests at the front desk. It’s no surprise that a company that provides health insurance for pets has a dog-friendly office policy. “As a company that strives to attract a cohesive team with a lifelong passion for pets and their well-being, it is only fitting that our office embodies this commitment to pet health,” co-founder Natasha Ashton wrote in a Petplan<\/a> press release. The company’s pet food divisions, IAMS and Eukanuba, allow employees to bring their pets to work. It also provides up to 400 pounds of free pet food per year to employees. Some animals even hold important positions within Procter & Gamble<\/a>, including a vice president of canine communications. Keep pets away from fine china? Not at this company, where employees are encouraged to take their furry friends to work. <\/a>Replacements, Ltd.<\/a> even regularly features employees’ pets on its website. Puppyforce, Salesforce’s<\/a> pet policy, allows employees to reserve desks in a soundproof, dog-friendly room that has water bowls, padded cages and dog beds. Employees also get discounts on pet insurance, vet house calls, pet supplies and dog walking. Several dogs roam the office daily at The Squires Group<\/a>, which has bios of employees’ four-legged pals on its website. Employees are encouraged to bring pets of any kind — even rabbits — to work at Tito’s<\/a>, which has an outdoor play area for dogs and offices where animals are allowed to roam free.
