How to Make an Infant Vampire Costume

Sara Eberle
Sept. 28, 2012

As part of the Care.com Halloween costume series, here is how to turn your infant into a classic vampire.

Forget Edward and Bella, the classic vampire has less drama and more retro appeal. Plus, it's easier to make.

Materials:

  • White onesie
  • Red fabric paint
  • Black pants
  • Red socks
  • 1-foot x 1 1/2-foot piece of black satin fabric

Step 1: Lay onesie flat. Drip red fabric paint on the neckline and top of chest to look like blood drops. Let dry.

Step 2: Put onesie, pants and socks on your baby.

Step 3: Tie black satin over baby's shoulders to make cape.
