New Jersey - Home Care

If your loved one's health is declining, you may need to look into getting help with their everyday needs. Especially if that person prefers to stay at home, home care may be the best option.

What Is Home Care?

Home Care covers a wide range of health care and support services that are provided in your loved one's home. Typically, home care is appropriate when your loved one needs ongoing care that cannot easily or effectively be provided solely by family and friends, but they can still safely stay at home. Overall, some home care services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and laundry; bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom; cooking or providing meals; basic health care. Professional health care, known as skilled medical care is also available for more intensive medical assistance. Ask your loved one about their home care wishes, even if it seems awkward.
