Montana - Home Care

For many families, the best senior care option is found through a nursing home or assisted living facility, but for some this is not the most desirable option. For families who want their loved one to remain at home, the proper alternative is likely Home Care.

What is Home Care?

Home care is a service in which visiting nurses come into the home of a senior to perform various duties ranging from medical treatment to more assistive tasks. There are two types of senior home care, skilled medical home care and non-medical home care, and each offers a different level of care. Skilled medical home care is best for a senior who requires daily medical treatment and assistance with nearly every daily task. Non-medical home care is reserved for seniors who do not require frequent medical care, but do need help with a number of daily tasks. Non-medical home caregivers provide duties including help around the house, help with meals, dressing and bathing assistance, and more.
