End-of-life care preparation is tough and can be fraught with deep emotions as it becomes clear that such arrangements must be made soon. These delicate times can be made a bit easier with proper planning and careful exploration of each possible end-of-life care option. Although it may be hard to start the searching process, in the end, an early start will help to avoid stress and problems down the road.

Arizona is one of the more popular US states for retirees; in turn, there are many of opportunities for senior care, whether it be end-of-life or general senior care. One of the more popular end-of-life care options is Hospice. Hospice care focuses on pain and symptom relief rather than intensive medical care to keep their residents as comfortable. Hospice can be done in an individual's home, a nursing home, or a hospice facility and is typically reserved for terminally ill patients with less than six months to live.
