Get creative on movie night with these fun movie-themed craft and recipe ideas for your kiddos.

Movie nights (or days!) are a great way to spend some extra time with family, so why not make them a little extra special?

Whether youve got a cold or a rainy day indoors, or you just want to spice up your crafts and recipes with movie-ideas, these suggestions are sure to be crowd pleasers! Added bonus: combine them with a whole movie-birthday party theme and youve got a box office smash!

  1. Harry Potter Potions
    This is a perfect craft for little wizards, witches and goblins! Use household items to create magical, fun potions as well as learn how to make some delicious, wizardly snacks. Be sure to cover your table and provide protective eyewear just to be safe.

  2. Frozen Play Snow
    You may want to give Frozen the cold shoulder, but the little ones are sure to love this play snow. The recipe will only take a few minutes and requires baking soda, hand lotion, and silver or blue glitter. Add some figurines as well as the Frozen soundtrack for extra fun. After hours of playtime, you can let it go or store the snow in the fridge for later.

    Have some extra toilet paper rolls lying around? Heres a perfect way to recycle them! Your kids can get creative with paint, googly eyes, glue and pipe cleaners.
