I need to switch my account from looking for care to looking for a job as a childcare provider.

How annoying, the verbiage totally sets you up to click as if you need care then you're stuck I guess. What a pain! Thanks for your help!!
Same here but the opposite. Used to be a sitter, now I'm a mom. They seriously make us set up a new account with a new email address?!?!?
I am having the same problem! I've been on here for an hour trying to figure it out. somebody please help!
Same here! The site is not user friendly and practically impossible to switch back and forth from posting a job to receive help and then to offer services.
You'll need to close your account and re-register with the same email address as a job seeker.
AUGH
I'm having the same problem. 😬
I would just make a new account. I don't think there is a way.
Me to trying to make a new account
Currently just spent a half hour trying to figure this out and I can't for the life of me figure it out!

hello but would i have to pay again if i make a new account with same email?
I just upgraded my account to premium (I paid $60 for 6 months), and I am still unable to message nannies. I signed up as a tutor on care.com several months ago, and now I need to hire a nanny for my baby that is on the way! If I do need to open a new account, as this thread suggests, I expect care.com to reimburse me for this membership that I just paid for. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Add me to the list!
having same proble, lool
I can't change mine either. I want to add tutoring. Should I just make a new account?
Just talked to customer support with this same issue. The said that you are out of luck, will have to make another account and pay the fee again to get premium membership on the new account to be able to message people directly. IMO this is terrible customer service and a horrid practice, as I find it really implausible that someone who provides care to another person will NEVER at any point require services through the site that they already have built a profile for and paid money to. Losing all interest in using this site in the future, completely unfair and ridiculous.
