Absolutely! That is completely unprofessional, and they should have written permission from you stating that it was okay to use your child's likeness before they even considered posting it.

Yes you have the right to complain to authorities if a nanny is posting a picture of your child on a site or anywhere without your permission

Yes, just tell her to remove it and ask her not to take or use pictures without your permission.

If didn't ask you before the picture was taken I would definitely say something about it.

That's terrible! I would definitely communicate with that Nanny to stop and if she's not responsive, move on! Nannies are meant to be respectful of the wishes of the parent. You should never feel uncomfortable.

I believe there are laws against that. I would maybe have a talk with her and if she doesn't listen bring it up to someone of higher authority if you don't feel ok with it.

100%! Those are your children and you did not give them permission to use their photos. A nanny should never use photos of your child or post photos of your child without your permission.

Yes absolutely. Unless a non disclosure has been signed or permission has been granted. It's actually illegal in some states. I would address and confirm you're uncomfortable posting any photos.

Yes, this should not be allowed. Nannies should only be allowed to use such pictures with the parents' consent.

I would politely ask them not to use your child's picture. If they do not comply I would contact the sight they are using the picture and notify them of the problem.

Yes. It is unprofessional to do that. It may even be illegal. You should talk to the nanny and ask hem/her to take the pictures down.

Yes. If you have not expressed permission for them to use your child in photos, they are technically breaking the law. You can very well complain about this

Definitely you can kindly request (AKA demand since it's your child) that they use a different photo without your child.

You can actually take legal action against this nanny as it is illegal to photograph and use a child's photo without the written consent of the parent/guardian

You should insist immediately that this "Nanny" remove all pictures of your children from her phone and all advertisements! This behavior should also be reported to either the nanny's agency or to the site she is advertising herself on.

Legally, I am not sure and I would speak with a lawyer to see what your rights are in this situation. I'm not suggesting pressing charges, but rather using the lawyer as a way to avoid direct confrontation while flexing a little muscle to get the photo taken down.

Yes, all digital photos have electronic signatures on them that can show the physical location where the photo was taken, & also the physical location where the person was when they posted the photo as well. This can endanger your child to predators with the skills to find this information.
