How do I call, Care.com, on the phone, to close my account? (because the website won't let me close my account)

My credit card expired and I got an email.  I'm trying to close the account.

I tired the FAQ.

I tried the Membership Information page: 

A link Member Login - Care.com

 

The site is pushing me to select a package and enter credit card information.  

I select "free" and the "submit" button does not work.  So I can't get passed this page.

No, I'm not giving my credit card to a site that doesn't have an obvious customer support phone number to call.

Find there phone number and call them.

Get in touch of their service center through phone, email . Most nice websites have Help Chat also.

I tried the Contact Us field but it is not functional. Very frustrating. Sounds like others are having issues too.

I am a member on Care.com ,I can only request care. I would like to be able to provide care.I've looked everywhere on the site to do this but its not possible . can a care agent call me and fix this.

How the heck do I edit my hourly rate? This area of the website is not user friendly at all. I have been trying to edit this for nearly an hour. Any suggestions? I see edit availability in every other area but this.

They have pretty good online customer service. If you send them an email through the Help page, they should be able to help you close the account.

It's your prerogative, of course; but if I were you, I wouldn't close my account. You might want to use Care.com again in the future. You can either hide your account for the time being or you can close it by going to the tab that says My Care.com. You will see "My Account & Settings" in the window that pops up. Click on that. Scroll down just past the area related to social networks (Facebook/Twitter/Google) to where it says "Membership Information" and click on the blue underlined link that says "Close my account." But please note that you can easily remove your credit card information and remain a member of Care.com. You should be able to change to the "Basic" free plan rather than the upgraded plan by editing the "Membership Plan" section of the "Membership Information" in "My Accounts & Settings" as directed above. I have not had any difficulty with this, and I hope this will work for you as well!

On my membership as a caregiver...all that is needed is to click account and settings and scroll to where there is a choice to downgrade or close the account. Once you click that it will be closed following the date your payment is good until. You will still be a member until it closes, but you can choose to not show things on this one also. I can hide myself completely here if I choose to.

How do I change my "status" so that I am not LOOKING for a job but trying to find someone FOR a job? I want to find a nanny and CANNOT connect with them for some reason. Is there a number to call for help? No wonder I didn't use this site for so long.

I called Care.com for another reason and used my search engine to find "Care.com phone number". I found the number, placed my call, and had a nice conversation with a representative who helped me with my question! Good luck!

The only way I could figure out to contact them is through the form on the website. They did get back to me, but it was about 2 weeks later, though they say it should be more like 24 hours. Not sure what happened there. Wish I could be of more help! TRY HERE: https://www.care.com/en-gb/con...
