From where should i buy pride scooter for my Grandfather?
I want to buy pride scooter for my Grandfather, but don't know the place to buy it from. My friend suggested me few useful sites. but I am still confused should I buy from this site or not please suggest.
no take him to a dealer first and see if he can use it . before you spend the money
Talk to her Doctor he or she may give you a Prescription for the scooter.
check local news papers or facebook market sometimes people sell them due to the passing of love ones still in very good condition and reasonably priced
You should always go look at things in person. It will have to be fitted to meet his body specs.
I WOULD RESEARCH MAYBE A SCOOTER SHOPS CLOSE TO ME
I am not sure.
Check with his physician to prescribe the pride scooter. Maybe Medicare will pay towards it. Try medical suppliers in your area.
There should be 1 medical supply at corner of s. orange ave. & Gore in Orlando
Mobility Works or NuMotion
Look for reviews on the site for scooter and choose the best one.
There are lots of different sites online that offer motor scooters for seniors. You could try to buy a used scooter locally to save some money. Shipping an item like this may be costly so be sure to inquire about the cost of shipping prior to making a purchase.
I don't even know what a pride scooter IS!
Online sites are very useful, aren't they? Try: wwwpridemobility.com. Since a lot of grandpa's don't know how to order online, do it for him.
If your Grandfather is a veteran, contact the VA, they will supply one for him if Dr. deems necessary. Also they are available used thru some websites if money is a problem.
ask his dr
I would check with insurance/medicare first as they may have a provider that they contract with. You may get this durable medical equipment at a better rate and you may also get service for it.
If you're interested in good comparison reviews of wheelchairs I'd look at BarriersGone.com
I hope this helps.
if your friend gave you good suggestions what answer are you wanting ? aslong as the price is within budget and has warranty......Personally I wpuld get directly from the site incase future maintenance is required
From any medical supply store in your area or online.
i would suggest to contact your grandfather's health insurance
I would suggest that you use the actual company's website which is pridemobility.com. They actually have agents available to be able to discuss their product and assist you in choosing the scooter that best suits your grandfather's needs
sometime the insurance covers it. call them up and ask, you never know
I personally would go to the medical supply company of The Valley Health System (after calling to see if they carry this particular brand and/or check with another reputable medical supply provider,
There different sites online also some stores depending. Or vest is driving or to save gas... Word of mouth.. Thanks.. Rose
Not quite sure what a pride scooter is... anything like a hovaround or any other form of electric scooters? There are medical / equipment shops open to public all over CO, some only sell these products or equipment while others will lease You just have to shop around for the right fit.
Hello, I would make sure that it is under warranty in case you need any servicing. Spinlife looks like it has decent reviews. Ask about stop time and turning radius as well as does it have bumpers to help avoid damage/accidents if they hit anything. As with any item, check price and does insurance cover any part of it. I don't know anyone with this particular brand but with others, the battery replacements can be pricey. I hope this helps. Good luck. Kim
Thanks Elena for the advice, it means alot:)
you cant by a mobility scooter from this site.
Thanks Silvana. But I visited the site and they have variety of mobility scooters available, but I am confused in durability. My friend assured me that it is durable because her mother is using the same brand.
I suggest buying it from any most popular licensed dealer for pride scooters at nearby dealer stores to actually see what fits his comfort, size and the budget, and if not satisfied, pretty sure, they will recommend the website for more selection of your needs and choice on line.
