What day of the week is the least busiest time to travel?
I don't want to send my mother on a plane when it is crazy. When is the best time for her to travel alone?
Tuesday I think
call the airline to ask ,and aaa
Check with the airline you are going to use. Let them know your concerns. Sincerely, Ann Fisher, McKinney, TX
Try to get a direct flight with no transfers if possible. Shorter and most direct flight is the best. Fly Tues through Thurs. for less congestion in the airports. If she has bathroom problems get her an aisle seat near the bathroom. If not, get her a window seat so she can look out. If you get her a seat toward the front she won't have to wait in such a long line to get off the plane when she is already tired of travelling. If you arrange for wheelchair access the airline will send someone to pick her up and transport her to her next fight on time. Try to get flights that operate during typical business work hours. That way most people will be at work instead of in the terminals. Of course avoid holidays.
Tuesday-Thursday would be great. Also if you are concerned, free of charge you could request and escort or to have her looked after by flight crew to make her much more comfortable. They would be happy to do so.
NO.I am think you need stand every time with mather or peapl take care
I have a friend who was a flight attendant, and she told me that Tuesday afternoon is the least busy at airports all over the country.
she dont have travel alone.
Tuesday is the slowest day to travel.
its not about the day of the week to let her travel alone it's about safety
Probably red-eye or night flights are less hectic. Avoid the holidays. Travel mid-week.
Not sure on this one. Where do you live? How far is she traveling? How is she traveling
The least busiest time to fly is mid-afternoon. It is more expensive than early morning or late evening. It would be okay if she didn't have connecting flights or absolutely had to be somewhere at a specific time. If so, it would be best to take an early morning flight so if there will any delays, she would have the rest of the day to work on rescheduling as to avoid being stuck overnight at the airport.
Depending on how far your mom is traveling, you may want to check Greyhound for road travel...
I think after vacations
Usually Wednesdays are the slowest days to travel. But, the airlines do offer meet and assist, whether its with a wheelchair or just someone to get her from gate to gate.
Check with a travel agency.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are less busy travel days and saving some coins, too.
I think middle of week which is better or avoid any Holidays or weekends.
