Most parents ask if you have any experience with children and if so how long. also if you are CPR certified, Some activities include peek-a-boo, story time, singing to the baby, putting colorful objects around the baby and see witch ones they try to grab.
If i was asked to work overtime past the 40 hr work pay, I myself would expect time and a half unless it was in the contract or agreement when i was hired. But above all if needed yes I would work the extra hrs if need be.
It is always best to ask the parents their way of authority with the children and respect their wishes.
I myself charged $9hr for all children did not matter if had disabilities or not they are all same to me.
