You can now shop at home at Target, Walmart, etc. and your caregiver is only responsible for the pick-up. Pay in advance by credit, no problem. Many pharmacies deliver, too.

Check local support groups, many are church and senior care providers.
Looks like a lot for you and your family to take on right now. The early stages are really rough but sometimes things even out, especially in a very structured environment. Check your area for local memory disorder facilities and be sure to read the reviews.
Check with your local Care.com website, it varies. For me is is dependent on my duties, also.
Level 2 background check is a MUST. I find that the initial interview is best a restaurant, coffee house etc., as., there is less distraction and it's easier to have a meeting of the minds.
