A Breakdown of the Greatest Parenting Video Ever

Here are two parents who'll consider getting a babysitter the next time one of them decides to do a TV interview at home.

A Breakdown of the Greatest Parenting Video Ever

BREAKING NEWS: Two young children burst onto the scene of their dad’s live shot on the BBC, giving him a healthy dose of anxiety and embarrassment on a worldwide stage.

The hilariously painstaking incident happened to Robert Kelly, a political science professor at Pusan National University in South Korea, during a live segment with the BBC in which he was discussing the recent Korean impeachment.

Kelly, who appears to be sitting in his home office, is talking to the news anchor as his pigtailed daughter casually dances into the background of the live shot and walks right up to his desk.

“I think one of your children just walked in,” the anchor says.

At that point, you see Kelly give the girl a gentle nudge to vacate the room. This is the best-case scenario, right? Wrong.

Seconds later, Kelly’s baby pushes the door open and rolls in with his plastic walker. Talk about showing up in style. Clearly this kid has no idea that dad is talking about some very important stuff on live TV.

By now, you’re probably asking yourself, “Who is keeping an eye on these kids?” Stay tuned, because the embarrassing episode doesn’t stop there.

As Kelly apologizes to the anchor, a woman slides into the room, toppling over several books as she frantically whisks the tiny tots out of the office.

Phew! Poor guy. This is one reason to hire a babysitter when you decide to give an interview at home.

“Is this kinda thing that goes ‘viral’ and gets weird?” he tweeted.

Yes. Yes, it is.

Maybe this isn’t the type of global exposure the working dad was hoping for. It’s safe to say that sometimes working from home isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
