At an early age, my twin sister and I have childcare experience dating back to the age of 10 years old. We began babysitting as mother's helpers and branched out to independent babysitting within our local community. As I grew older, I always maintained interpersonal relationships with coworkers, teachers, and various members of the community, keeping a firm foundation for providing childcare over those years.
My strongest achievement as a girl scout camp counselor attributes to the most significant and rewarding experience as a care provider for children. In 2007, I became a certified nursing assistant and practiced until 2011. Throughout that time, I was CPR and first aid certified twice. I base my comprehensive skills and babysitting methods in being active. I believe the best way to build a rapport and engage with the child is through fun, creative, and strengths based activities, for us to participate in together. This includes arts and crafts, homework assignments centered on the children's best learning methods, outdoor play, mild to moderate exercise, daily structure, and anything that stimulates the mind that we can participate in together.
