Hi! I'm Skylar, I'm currently a Substitute Assistant Teacher at the Hershey Montessori School. I'm currently working towards my degree in Early Childhood Education at Lakeland Community College. I have prior experience as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher as well as private nanny experience. I have worked with ages 6 weeks all the way up to 12 years. I am comfortable with all age groups and with being in a school system I'm used to watching large quantities of children at a time. Community volunteering includes children's library programs & assistance at a center for survivors of domestic abuse. The downside of being a grandparent is that 4 of our 6 grandchildren live out of state, so my husband & I don't see them as frequently as we'd like--I have lots of "grandma time & love" to share with other children.
