I am a family doctor and I have 2 children who have been going to ECU (formerly Tutor Time) for the past 5 years. My 9 year old started there in preschool then went to preK and then before/after care pre-COVID. My 5 year old has gone there since he was 6 weeks old. My children have felt loved and cared for by their teachers there. I have felt safe leaving them there and have had good communication with the teachers. My kids were often sad when they had to move to a new classroom because they loved their prior teachers so much. The teachers at ECU made my older son so excited about going to Kindergarten that the transition was so easy. He was also well prepared to start kindergarten after preK at ECU.

ECU is also super understanding of parents struggles/situations. My husband had to leave town for work several years ago and I was panicked about how I would manage with a full time job myself. Miss Gayle and I spoke and she reassured me that my kids would be safe and cared for even if I was running late at times.

ECU is also open for school breaks and on snow days which is so helpful. The Center has requested I pick up the kids a little bit early on days where there are big snow storms so the staff that work there can get home safe. This has probably only happened 1-2 times in 5 years and I actually felt it was very reasonable and important for their teachers to be safe.

Even through COVID - they took the steps they needed to support working families. They followed all state/local health department guidelines to keep our family feeling safe taking my younger son there. They also did the best they could to support families with children doing virtual learning. I was able to make a plan for my child to stay home but felt so much comfort knowing that during a time of lots of change, he could go to a place where there were familiar faces and people.

No daycare center/babysitter/nanny is perfect. None of us are. If I have had a concern, I have discussed it with the teachers or center director and had my concerns addressed/answered quickly.

The most important thing for me as a parent is to have my kids in a place where they are safe and with people who care about them while I am at work. ECU has exceeded these expectations for me. I would definitely recommend ECU to others.

After reading the comments I was leery to say the least but also desperate. Nothing but pleasant surprises. The staff really care about the kids. Things have come up and they inform me right away. The boys love going here and are learning so much!

My family has had 2 children go thru this center. It was fine for my older child who started in the preschool room. When we had my 2nd child we enrolled him in the infant room. It started fine but sad enough my son started biting at around 12 months. This was not something my husband and I had experience with as my older child did not bite. After our first meeting with the directors to development what they called an action plan we were optimistic the biting could be stopped. They made suggestions on what to try at home and what the staff would also do. While happily enough it stopped at home about a month after our initial discussion with management, it sadly continued at school. After 2 more meetings and 2 more promises that they would be able to implement the action plan that THEY develop it became clear they could not adequately watch the children and stop the behavior that had already ended at home. I feel they kept a tight rein on the number of staff to children ratio which sadly did not help in ending this behavior they described as completely normal. With choosing to immediately withdraw my child from their facility due to their inability to care for him I asked the director and assistant director to have the owner call me when she returned their calls. The owner does not come into the building every day. That was Nov 14th. I then submitted a letter on Nov 18th to their owner, addressed to the Tutor Time location. I THEN sent an email to her personal email account on Nov 30th. I also called on December 5th and left another message with the director. Would you believe this hands on owner has not returned ANY form of communications? I've requested a refund of my deposit because I could not finish the 2 week notice I provided them. I was too scared my child (and his peers) was not being watched enough. The owner s lack of response proves they DO NOT care about current customers or stand by their offer of Child Care with a Guarantee. I was also previously on the parent advisory committee. The owner will take suggestion and implement ones that satisfy her needs. Good luck in your search for child care.

First off, I'd like to commend Care.Com on giving the owner(s) of this facility to apologize and explain how this daycare center is working to become one of the top accredited nationally recognized facilities. My son has only been enrolled in Tutor Time for two months. I was given the opportunity to take advantage of one their great deals within the first couple of weeks, which saved me a lot of money in the transfer process from his previous daycare. The director, Samantha, was really earnest about hearing me out as it relates to my issues with my son's previous daycare provider. Very recently, I was honored to participate in a meeting with their Parent Advisory board. In doing so, I realized just how much the owner(s) Nina and Surinder Judge really do listen and respond accordingly to the concerns of the families at Tutor Time of Plymouth. Their curriculum, diet plan and overall structure are constantly improving to meet the needs of their children ~ the ultimate priority!

I wouldn't even give this center 1 star if I could. Absolutely horrifying place, All they care about is how to make money. If you pay your tuition your kid can stay there no matter what they do. I was in a room where the staff person had too many children and when she called the director, she was told that someone would be down there soon, I was there 1/2 an hour and nobody showed up, just more children. I was horrified that all the meals were cooked in a microwave, and the food they feed them, I shutter to think of my child eating that everyday. No fresh fruits or vegetable were offered. For the most part the staff seemed nice enough. The director will tell you anything you want to hear to get you in the door. Beware: In order to get their "deals" you have to be enrolled 6months to a year to get those. Happy hunting!

Dear Riley O:
We appreciate your information.
We sincerely apologies if you had this experience at our Center!
It is certainly not our intent by any means.

We take pride in the fact to be the ONLY child-care learning center locally that offers

We are a nationally recognized brand with very strict policies and procedures.

We are very competitive in our rates and have special offers time to time that are very
popular as they help the parents to pay for the child's care.
As a result, significant number of customers are taking advantage and we have a
waiting list in some of our class rooms already.

Our FOOD Menus are carefully prepared staying in-line with national dietary
nutritional guidelines.
I will be happy to review any information with you any time.

Pl. let me know by contacting me at:

"My daughter has been attending Tutor Time of Plymouth since she was 12 weeks old.
She loves her teachers, and so do I. From her first steps & first words, they've been
there to challenge & encourage her - keeping her safe through it all. My preferences
& her needs have been respected from day 1, including accommodating my work
schedule as it has changed. I am impressed that the owners & directors have
elicited parent feedback as they seek to improve the school & heighten their
community involvement."
