SHAME ON THIS COMPANY and their NEGLIGENCE!!
Until recently, I have been pleased with their care. My oldest child has attended Tutor Time of Peoria from 21 months - 4 years and my youngest has attended from 6 weeks- 1 year.
At the height of the pandemic in Spring 2020 they started requiring staff and visitors to wear masks. If there was an exposure, they promptly notified parents and asked all affected students or staff to quarantine. I felt that they were taking appropriate precautions to safe guard my children as much as they could in a group setting.
That all changed on July 7, 2021 as the Delta variant was spreading and state positivity rates were increasing. The Learning Care Group who is the Tutor Time umbrella company dropped mask requirements for employees and visitors. I only found out as I was dropping my kids off in the morning. They did not have the courtesy to notify parents ahead of time to allow them to make other accommodations if they wanted. They lied to me and said there was an email that I conveniently never received. I also confirmed with other parents that there was no email or notification. I spoke to the school's director and the area manager and explained that this new policy went against CDC, AZ Dept of Health and their own policies listed on their website. I was told by the area manager that she was not really aware of their policies and that she would look into it and get back to me (she never did). She also basically said that they were getting pressure from parents who didn't understand why they have to wear a mask when entering the daycare but not at the grocery store.
I did immediately begin looking for other childcare options and found another preschool that still requires masks and is taking all possible precautions to protect the children who attend. However, like any decent preschool there's a wait to get in and so my infant remained at Tutor Time for 1 more month until they could start at the new school. This week was supposed to be his last week.
Today, I received a call notifying me that he had direct exposure to an employee in the infant room who tested positive for COVID. That employee was there today. They knowingly allowed someone who was waiting on COVID test results to come to work and provide care for infants (children as young as 6 weeks old). In addition, that employee was not wearing a mask knowing that they could be COVID positive.
I am not unreasonable. I know I am taking a risk for sending my children to a group learning environment, but there are certain basic precautions that should have been taken. Now I can only patiently wait and hope my baby doesn't suffer the consequences of their gross neglect.

Nothing but terrible experiences here ever since the second day my infant started daycare. Ashely is great with the babies in the infant room, but when she leaves at 2pm its a revolving door of unprofessional, unorganized and inconsiderate staff. We are currently searching for a new daycare center.
