My son has been going there for almost 2 years now. The teachers take such a special interest in your children. There is a daily sheet that informs you of everything that your child did, what they ate, how they slept, and when they used the bathroom.what activities they did and what they are working on. My son has learned so much and we having but positive things to say about TLE Mooresville and the teachers.

My son started daycare at the learning experience on Wednesday, November 1st 2017. When I walked him in class Ms. Jalessa had made one statement that concerned me I asked a question and she said "I'm not sure, I don't have any kids so I'm still learning how to do this" On Monday November 6th his dad went to pick him up and saw a black and blue bruise under his eye. He asked Ms. Jalessa Patterson, the daycare teacher for Preppers (ages 2 -3 years old), what had happen to him and she said she didn't know. She assured him that no other kid had hit him. Her exact words were "There weren't any kids around him, he was near me". No accident/ incident report was filed. So I asked could I see the cameras, she told me that they didn't record they are just there for watching purposes, which I clearly saw the record light on. On Wednesday November 8th I stopped by the day care around 3:15pm to check on my son as I was leaving I saw a paper on the table with his name on it and I asked Ms. Jalessa what it was and she says "Oh yeah Julian had an accident/ incident today". Mind you its policy that every time your child has an accident/ incident you are suppose to get a phone call and I hadn't got a phone call for either times he got hurt. So I read the paper and the accident/ incident report paper said "Julian had dumped his food on the floor when he went to teacher for diaper changed.. he slipped and hit his head on the table" at this point it was two different stories. The first question that comes to mind is how did he slip on a chicken nugget and carrot. The next morning I go back into the building to withdraw him and get the chain of command which in the parent handbook it says it is suppose to be posted upfront and I didn't see it so I ask a lady that's sitting upfront that I had never seen before where it is and she says "I'm not sure it is suppose to be up here but I don't see it, but I am the regional manager is there anything I could help you with?" So I tell her everything that has been going on and all the rules and policies that this daycare has been breaking. While I have Ms. Susan Race, the Regional Manager, there I address some of my other concerns which was the ratio for toddlers to teachers is 10:1 and when I would drop Julian off or come check in on him Ms. Jalessa would be in there with more than 10 kids by herself which is definitely breaking the law, and when I mentioned it to Ms. Marsha she told me that "oh another teacher is coming in, I have them come in at staggered times". I ask her for corporates phone number and she basically refused to give it to me and tried to tell me "well it's pointless to call them because it's just going to come back to me" and she tried to give me her fax number and tell me it was corporates number. I requested to have a sit down with all of them and to receive my money back, she tells me she would have the owner of this particular Learning Experience call me. So he calls me TWO days later and when I told him I wanted to have a sit down meeting with him, Jalessa Patterson, and Susan Race, he tells me "No there is no point you got your money back and it's over now". My son still has TWO bruises on his face and I have no answers so I say "Just because you gave me my money back does not mean the situation has been handled and over you are running a daycare facility very poorly and I will get law involved". I went to talk to them and I got another total different story from Ms. Jalessa. The made up story after story to cover up lie after lie. THIS DAYCARE SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN SHUT DOWN WHEN A GROUP OF TODDLERS GOT OUTSIDE BY THEMSELVES AND WERE FOUND IN THE STREET BY THE RAILROAD TRACKS. IT STILL IS RAN WITH A LACK OF CARE AND MS. JALESSA PATTERSON IS NOT CUT OUT FOR THE JOB AND SHOULD NOT BE LEFT WITH ANYONES CHILDREN. MARSHA ANDERSON IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND INSENSITIVE. PEOPLE WARNED ME ABOUT THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN MOORESVILLE, NC AND I WISH I WOULD HAVE LISTENED! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE AS YOUR DAYCARE I SUGGEST YOU LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS!!!!!!

Our family has had an Awesome Experience at TLE. Our son was enrolled for the past five years. He just started Kindergarten and the Staff is Great and the Curriculum is Phenomenal. Honestly, no other school in the area can compete with TLE's Program. I have friends at other child care centers and ALL DAY Care Centers have Turn Over.
Both of the Assistant Director's are Great and the Owner cares about the students and staff . She has High Expectations of her staff members. She provides Exceptional Customer Service to her families and expects the same level of service from her staff.
Also, my son did Extremely well on his kindergarten assessment. His Teacher was impressed with all of his knowledge for a five year old.
Proud TLE Parent.

Twice now children have walked out of the building unsupervised. Do your research, this school should be shut down. The director is SO rude, and even yelled at a teacher while we were on a tour. This place made my heart sink. I could not imagine leaving my child here if it was free! Keep looking!!
