Unfortunately we are not pleased with this facility. The facility is clean, secure, and keeps to a schedule as best as we know. However, the overall management and incident response procedures are severely lacking. Our child was bitten three times on the same day by another child and upon pick up they disclosed only one bite. When we got home we saw two other bites, both on separate arms. The next morning we addressed this with the staff, and the response was that of deflection, unknowing, and that the supervising adult had been advised this was unacceptable. Despite numerous requests, there was no contact from the director or assistant regarding the event, corrective actions, and a strategy to ensure better care. This forced our hand and we made the required notification that our child would no longer be attending this facility on a specific date, and on his last day they didn't even say goodbye to him. Overall this is a poor demonstration of care level from the staff and management, and will not recommend this facility to anyone in the future.

Both of children have both attended since almost infancy and I've never had an issue. The facility is amazing and the teachers have always been caring and attentive (Miss Patty, Miss Karina, Miss Liz and Miss Aja to name a few). The learning curriculum is great, both of my kids come home each week with new vocabulary and surprise me everyday with something new they learned. I would highly recommend this school.

The New Director Christopher and his staff our doing an amazing job. You can really see the change since the start of the summer. Staff is always happy and greet me every time I drop my son off. The Director's door is always open and I am greeted with a smile and hello every morning. My child is in their VPK program and has learned so much since we started. He has even began reading at home. We love Ms. Jana and are so excited to have her as a teacher. I would recommend them to my friends and any one who is looking for quality childcare where learning is the main focus and not just a baby sitter. Their summer camp program was awesome and I loved seeing all the picture from the app on my phone about my child's day.
The managers are great at putting on a smile and pretending to be holier than thou but the facility itself is a joke. My daughter had a different teacher like every week. She was constantly being switched to other classrooms so I would have to walk around the school and try to find her. My daughter was CONSTANTLY getting bit by other kids. They were constantly losing her belongings. My daughter was coming home all the time with big bruises on her legs and back and arms with no incident reports. The teachers are always on their phones and ignoring the kids. A few times with one "teacher" I whitnessed her tell a baby who had JUST turned 2 to "go deal with it yourself" when she asked for help after another student took her silly cup then she went back to her phone. That same teacher, I've seen grab kids by the upper arms and repremand them a bit too harshly (this is still 2yr olds). Finally one day I dropped my daughter off and that teacher was in her room..... I had a really uneasy feeling! As soon as my daughter saw her she clung to my leg and started crying saying she wanted to go home. I had to go to work so I told her it would be ok and I walked out. As I was signing her in on the computer in the lobby, I noticed a little girl crying on her moms lap and I said "she doesn't happen to belong in that class does she?" Her mom said yes so I asked "does that teacher give you a bad feeling?" Her mom said "ALWAYS! Thats why she's crying, she refuses to be left with her." Then she asked me "does your child ever come home with suspicious bruises and no incident reports?" I immediately got a sick feeling in my stomach and said "YES! Omg I want to take her home now!" She said "yea, I'm done with this school! I manage a restaurant and I'm about to just take her with me because there's no way I'm leaving her here anymore!" So I ran into the class and grabbed my daughter without saying a word to the teacher and I went straight to my car. As I was buckling her in, Katie the manager came over and said she had just spoken with the other mom and heard that we had some issues and this was news to her. I told her everything and she said "I mean I'm not defending her but the other kids don't seem to mind her" so I said "well I won't be bringing her back while she still works here" and we left and never looked back.
My son has attended here since they open. The facility is secure and the teachers are nurturing and attentive. Management does call when a child is sick and it can get annoying but I understand why. They always have activities for parents to get involved in their child's education which is nice. The education and curriculum is superior. The facility is great for working parents and for parents who value their child's education, health, and safety.
Katie was great, other than that it was a terrible experience. Our child turned two and in the following 4 months she spent there they never had the charge correct. I had no idea who her teacher was in the end as it had changed at least 4 times in those final 4 months. I would drop her off and pick her up in different classrooms / areas daily. We were constantly being called to come get her because she was sick every other week - no exaggeration. We switched her to a new school and in the two months she's been there she hasn't been sick once.
My son was in the 3 hour VPK classroom and I was unhappy with it from day one. There is a complete lack of communication between the center and parents. It has taken me the entire year to ensure we are receiving newsletters and curriculum schedules, and there is still no communication on a regular basis. They changed the start/end times on us 3 times AFTER we registered (time period May-August) without ever once contacting us, ultimately ensuring we weren't able to register our son anywhere else because all other programs were then full. They have cancelled the VPK class with little or no notice to parents on at least 4-5 different days, and lied about why, then lied that it was with the Health Department's and Early Learning Coalition's permission/guidance. Upon calling the ELC, it was determined that they knew of one day of closing, but had no idea about the others. Per state guidelines, they should have had a substitute, or they should come up with another plan. Giving parents a 20 minute forewarning that the class is closed, or NO call at all and having parents have to call to see if there will be school the next day is UNACCEPTABLE. Additionally, the teachers talk inappropriately about other children and parents within earshot of my child. My child has come home and asked me what sexually suggestive words and phrases mean, and when I ask where he heard it, he said he heard one of the teachers talking to another about a child's father. My son's teacher has also told him things about another students lack of discipline and behavior at home, and he repeats them verbatim to me at home. The center protects aggressive children - does not send incident reports home when children are hurt, and staff is ill-equipped to handle discipline issues. They have left a child on the playground alone. She was found crying hysterically by my son's class when they went outside, and had to be taken in to her teacher. They gave my son's academic assessment to another parent accidentally (FERPA violation?), and have sent paperwork home to us with another child's name on it and parent signature. I believe they are violating VPK compliance because they never start the class on time - how can the teacher start right at 9:30 every day, yet the class is supposed to start at 9:30? Where is the preparation time for the lessons? I have also heard from an outside person that they had to be "re-educated" on how to clean up a blood spill, that they just wanted to hose it off and were instructed that they had to use a bleach solution. It's a shame because the facility itself is very nice, aesthetically speaking, but is run by two people who seem to have no idea what they're doing. My preschooler is the youngest of my four children who have all been in daycare or preschool facilities, and I have NEVER encountered this level of unprofessionalism and complete incompetence. I am disgusted and dismayed that this center is being run in this fashion.

My son Blake attended the Learning Experience over the summer. He loved it! So safe (FOB key protected). Amazing staff as well!

This facility is one of the best education experience my son has experienced. They are well organized, scheduled, interactive, and overall a fun experience. This daycare provides above and beyond the exceptional learning experience over many including cost. I am very well pleased with the staff of how they are with the kids and families. This is a number one choice for any who is looking for care.
