BEWARE OF THIS DAY CARE AND DO NOT CONSIDER SENDING YOUR KID THERE IF YOU REALLY CARE FOR THEM. If there is anything lesser than a one star I would totally chose that. When I started looking for child care for my 15 month old son, I found that The Learning Experience in Providence Road, Charlotte was the only one that had open spaces while the other were all booked out. The staff seemed extremely friendly and nice which surprised me. As days and weeks passed, my little one was crying all day long while at the day care and something didn't feel right. The staff told me that most of the kids cried but would eventually get used to it. I initially thought it was the outcome of the pandemic and limited social interactions. Meanwhile my son was severely sick from ear and throat infections. And whenever we went to drop my son, he would cry loudly holding on to us and I would see atleast a couple of kids with excessive phlegm drooping out of their noses and all over the face. I even asked the teachers why it wasn't being cleaned. The classroom looked dirty and disgusting. Luckily we had to relocate for job within 2 months of his time there and I had to pull my son off the day care. And truth be told, our experience was totally alarming and unprofessional from the time I gave the month's notice. I had to ask for my son's belongings to be given back at the end and the next day I received a half torn plastic bag and his spare clothes dumped into it. I noticed that most of our belongings were missing including his blanket, crib sheets, sunscreen, diaper cream etc. I buy it all wholesale so yes they are huge tubs that I am talking about. I called to ask if they could look into it but the staff was very rude and insisted I send an email as she was closing and didn't have time. I sent multiple emails but the staff were not responsive. After a very disappointing email, I received a blunt response from the coordinator saying they could not find the things and there is nothing they can do.

The fact that this worried me so much was not just because the things were missing but if they were even used for my son in the first place. The blanket was given to comfort him as it was a new place. My son had a severe throat infection and high fever from constant crying that I even had to do a COVID test for him. Only if he had his blankie (oh it is his ULTIMATE comfort item) he might have not cried as much. I also filled a waiver and provided the sunscreen because my son was having a sun allergy and reactions from playing out in the sun while he was at the day care. They were all provided for a reason and to know that they were not being put into use really makes me mad.

I am putting this review out so parents can be aware of how this place is run and the staffs true colors. If you really care for your child, do not even consider this place. They absolutely have no genuine concern for the kid or their well being and truly no respect to the parents. It's all about business and money. I am so glad I made the move.

My son is currently going to a different day care for almost 2 months where he only cried the first day and I see him happy when I drop him off and pick him up. To top it off he has also made friends here. It is such a HUGE difference. Perhaps we should take their cues seriously rather than disregarding it by the norms set by the people that covid kids cry longer and have difficulty setting in. This place truly needs to be shut down.

Unfortunately this was not what I had expected at all... I enrolled my little one (3 years old) who started school for the first time and I was excited to see her grow here. I was looking forward to notifications on the first day via the app they told me about. When I inquired about the app on first day I was told it was more for the younger kids and the teachers app was not working. What!!??? This is the reason I signed my child here because they sold me on the app and being able to check on her and get notifications. RED FLAG.

Anyways I ended up deciding after a few hours of my child being there to do another school. I called the school and let them know I would be picking her up and I was super honest and told them I found another school and they told me I signed a 30 day notice paper that I have to pay full tuition and registration fee (1271+150). She's only been there couple hours mind you, I was not offered any other option to work out with director or anything. This facility seems desperate for money and very petty to take the full tuition for 1 day. I ended up letting her stay the 1 day but after that we were done.

It did not help that when she got home she stunk really bad in her underwear and it was red down there and she was complaining of itching so I gave her cranberry juice and bath in case she was developing a UTI. I don't think she wiped herself all day. I emailed the school twice about unenrollment and to withdraw from their program. No response at all (I waited 2 days). I finally called and Erin said they will read the email and get back with me? No response again.

I called again because at this point I just wanted to get my daughters stuff and copies of the papers I signed and was told Director was busy on a tour that she will get back with me. No response again. I finally just showed up and picked my daughters stuff up. That was just so weird! Im so glad I did not continue with this school because the communication was very poor and I just had bad vibes after all that. Very happy where we are now and would never recommend this school to anyone.

They are so wonderful here. We joined the TLE family this summer for our newborn daughter. She started at their Tega Cay location but quickly was able to move to the Ballantyne location. They are so wonderful there. The staff is always cheery, the facility is tidy, the kids all well behaved. I was worried as a FTM putting my daughter in daycare, but we've had nothing but the best to say about our experience so far! TLE is the best!

Our children started at TLE Ballantyne location March 2014. We have been very satisfied with the care they have received. My son has moved onto elementary school now but still talks about all the fun times he had at TLE. My daughter is excited to go to school everyday. It is a great feeling to be able to drop your child off and free confident that they are safe and are having a fun filled day of learning. Both of my children have learned so much at their time at TLE and we could not be happier

Our son has been going to TLE since he was 3 months old and we couldn't be more pleased with the care he receives. It is so reassuring to know he is in great hands while we are at work. We love the learning and development atmosphere and our son thrives so much and loves to go to "school" everyday. Every teacher we have had the pleasure of working with has been outstanding.

My son and I absolutely love this place. We attended for about 4 months prior to my lay off at work. It is pretty pricey but worth every penny. I cut off the cable so I could afford to put my son in the best hands. Within weeks I saw improvement in my son's commutation skills and love the amount of art they do each day. This place is a place of love and learning. He will definitely return once I return back to work.
