I honestly thought highly of new horizon initially. Ultimately the facility is clean and the kids do fun activities. However, the staff turnover was an issue. My preschooler went through 5 teachers over the course of 6 months. My daughter had 1 teacher in particular that I overheard yell at students multiple times. With that said, my preschooler had a really nice teacher and my toddlers teacher was fantastic. Overall, for the amount of money that a parent spends to send their children to new horizon, it is disappointing and disgusting the way the assistant director and director talk to parents and are not willing to hear feedback. Anytime that I did provide feedback to the assistant director and director, I would get a robot response, "that's just our policy, there is nothing we can do". I understand abiding by the policy, but there is little to no compassion and/or understanding to parents that this policy is hurting. I am not sure if new horizon realizes just how expensive their child care is, but I felt like I was essentially paying for daycare that my children were unable to use due to their "policy". For example, there were covid exposures in the preschool room. My preschooler had to go home the day of the exposure at 11am, yet I had to pay for her to be at daycare as if she was at daycare for the full day. New horizon was willing to refund for full days that my daughter missed due to a covid exposure, but they were unwilling to refund for the day where my daughter was sent home 3 hours after the day started. Luckily my girls are now in a new childcare setting and the company has a much better covid policy.

This site has not been able to take adequate care of children with extreme allergies. They need to b more aware of the needs n care for those children.
