My child went to this school for years, it wasn't till the last year and half or so is when we found out our child was being bullied. When we found out we notified the Principal (who is a joke) and that prompted a conference. When asked for a meeting with the parents to discuss what was taking place, the principal advised it was against school policy to meet with the families. The principal also said...I will not give a description of our meeting to any of the other parents Its important not to make anyone feel uncomfortable (so another words who cares about the child who was being bullied) Since the Bulling in the Principal eyes was not considered Bulling she basically swept it under the rug and told us what she is suppose to tell us but did NOTHING ABOUT. So the kids that where bulling my child had no consequences for their action. This has been a NIGHTMARE to our whole family and traumatizing to our child . We decided to pull our child out of this school and move her to another school in the middle of 5th grade. I STRONGLY suggest you do NOT send your child/children to this school and please spread the word.

I scheduled a tour to view the infant center and ended up going in 2 hours earlier. Just like with the other person who posted a review, we were waiting outside the door for an unnecessary amount of time on an extremely warm afternoon. This wouldn't have upset me too much but the principle, Heather, and what appeared to be her assistant were speaking to one another right in front of the door which was extremely rude. She informed us that she was not able to provide us with a tour because it was nap time which was understandable. However, the vibe we received from her was not welcoming. Also, the layout of what we saw of the school from the entrance and the condition of everything seemed cluttered and out dated so we're glad to bring our newborn to Action Day Primary Plus instead!

My three children (now 10, 8 and 2) all attend Merryhill and have since they were <1year old. Merryhill is a significant part of our family. The staff at the daycare has been remarkable and consistent over the many years and love the kids. They've been able to hold onto their staff well with little turnover, so this, too, has been helpful for those of us who just keep coming back. It's amazing the educational advantages I've seen with all three children. The principal, Heather and Flor, her assistant are so easy and fun to talk to. They take a lot of the stress out of raising a family with two working parents.

Both my son and daughter attended Merryhill daycare, preschool, and now the elementary school next door. I love the principal, Heather. She is very loving with all the children, and she is respected by all her staff. Her assistant Flor is very organized and takes care of any administrative needs I have. My son started at Merryhill at 4 months, and he has always been very happy there. Each of his teachers has become a friend of our family.
The reason I came to Merryhill originally was because the preschool had a very clear and organized academic program, which suited my daughter well at that age. As we got to know all the teachers, it was an easy decision to bring my son there a few years later.
I would say that if you are looking for a daycare or preschool with loving staff and teachers, who will really care for your children, you should consider Merryhill.

My review is based on the tour of the facility. It does not appear to be a well organized center. Also the principal seemed too rigid in her views. The first time I scheduled the the appointment to view the preschool but reached 5 mins late and rang the bell at the infant center (since that's were the reception is). No one answered the door. I waited for around 20 mins. No one still responded for the whole time. There was no one in the office. I called back next day and scheduled another tour. This time I when I went in I was told that they do not have my appointment on file but they have another tour in 30 mins and I can join in if I wait. After 30 mins, no one showed up but they did take me around. The classroom seemed ok though it was pretty close to the outside door and it seemed easy for a child to walk out of the building from there.
