About
We are a nature-based full-day M-F pre-K/K program operating year-round for families spread evenly across income levels. Every teacher is highly educated and well qualified to learn from and teach your developing child. We believe in the wonder of learning and we actively engage in inquiry to understand our world.
We are a very "green" early education center in a beautiful setting in Santa Monica, awarded for our commitment to sustainability with, among other distinctions, a LEED Gold certification. For example, our eco-curriculum includes planting, harvesting, shopping for, preparing, serving, eating (of course!), composting and cleaning up after lunches and morning + afternoon snacks. When not grown in our own garden, we source organic and farmers market ingredients
Children are learning outdoors as much as possible, and are engaged in plenty of physical fitness development onsite as well as in our 3 local parks.
