Our family moved to Tampa about a year ago when my husband got transferred for work. I was uneasy about leaving our children in a new daycare since they loved the one in our old town so much, but they love it there!
My 4 year old loves that she gets to learn Spanish with her teachers and loves when she gets to participate in soccer classes.
As for my little boy, I like that the daycare has two separate playgrounds so the younger kids can play with kids closer to their age.
Time of Wonder has been a second home to my children and we absolutely love it!

I recommend Time of Wonder Academy to anyone in the Tampa area! Miss Gina in the infant room is amazing. My children love it and I love being able to leave them in a place where they feel comfortable! Leaving your children while you work is hard, but Time of Wonder has made it an easy process for my family and me!

My 2 girls have been in this center since they were Infants. Now they are 3 and 4 years old. I cannot tell you how good and professional everybody is in there, specially when we approach to all staff with the same professionalism we all deserve. I was witness of how this Mounika was treating the staff and including the owner, who has been always there to attend all our requests. This Mounika was very rude and yelling everybody. We cannot ask for respect if we do not treat people in the same way. People have to listen reasons if they want responses of their concerns. Shouting is not the way to communicate and expect receptivity. There is a schedule in every room and they have to follow it in order to keep the attention of the children and keep them controled. This is a large daycare center not a one only child care. I am an elementary school's teacher and I know what I am talking about.
Unfortunately, there is people that love to ruin the work of good people.
As a parent that want the best care for their children, I would suggest you do not read reviews of any place, but ask parents outside the center how they feel. Go and experiment by yourself the excellent care, teaching and love this center is offering to all the children that attend it.
I love all the teachers in the center and I hope they continue to do the good job that always have done.

This daycare is the worst daycare your child can ever grow. My kid just turned 2 and he was moved to another room where there is TV. So this daycare for every daiper change they make the kids sit infront of TV and simply let them watch it for more than 20 mins each time.. When asked they say they teach educationalI something... If I want to teach my child educational something by making him sit in front of the TV, I would never send him to the daycare.I never saw them teaching something. Most of thrm dont speak English and its hard to communicate bare minimun stuff with them.So coming to the TV topic, when I asked them, they are very rude and said they watch only 5 mins of TV for every diaper change.. Come as a parent you know how much time it takes to change your baby. Imagine for 22 kids and 2 staff and this is the amount of time thry play TV..I have even watched the video on that specfic day before asking them. I felt pity for the kids and their parents.. Most of them dont know that their kids watch a lot of TV here. I am telling you again, the staff is very RUDE . When we ask them, they say its because you ate having a bad day at your office I am asking them so many questions.. This day care runs for money. Just for money. Every room after 2 has TV. Please dont joun your kids unless you think its okay to pay the daycare money who makes your kid sit dum infront of the TV. I would never recommend my friends to this daycare.

Dear Mounika
I am very sorry that you have had that opinion considering your child has been in the center for 2 years, since he was 1 year old.
According to your feedback while your child was enrolled, everything was fine and up to your standards until your child turned 2, when you did not like the schedule in place for the 2-year-old room. As we explained to you when you raised your concerns, our schedules are approved by Florida's Childcare Licensing and there have been no issues with it thus far. We always welcome suggestions from parents, we take them into account, but it we can not accommodate everyone, specially with a concern regarding scheduling, when other children would be affected by personal preferences.
We have explained to you, many times, that the TV is used for 10 minutes to keep the children entertained during potty training. As you know and have seen, we use special programs during different times of the day, including sign language, yoga, and a large library of educational videos.
Your child's teachers, the director and even the owner of Time of Wonder have personally tried to explain to you all the above, but unfortunately you decided not to let them finish their explanations. Your husband was more understanding and patient and tried to keep the child in the center because in his paraphrased words:" I like this center".
We have been in the business for more than 20 years and this is the first time we have this kind of complaint. Sometimes it is difficult to understand that a Nanny care is not the same of a Childcare and that our care includes teaching time in any activity the children are involved in. This includes potty training time.
We respect your opinion and we hope you will find the place that fits you and your child.
