Welcome to The Little Green House School!
We are a unique small private home school co-op that currently provides service for daycare baby sprouts ages 12months to 3 years and grades PK-2 and TLGH classes for homeschooled students grades K-8 as well.
We believe students learn through interactions and experiences, therefore ur students learn to read, write, and create in the context of play, projects, play, and social interactions throughout our community travels. Critical thinking is encouraged and individualized, as a result, students learn at their own pace.
THE LITTLE GREEN HOUSE School allows children to explore their creativity through art, music, hands-on projects, urban gardening, and so much more.
Our world is full of exploration and our students are curious to learn. In addition to being an alternative to the tradition public/private schools we utilize the NJ Common Core Curriculum Standards, National and International Events, and Historical Facts and Information as a guide to map student learning.
All learning is uniquely tailored to each student. The Little Green House School has a small population that keeps the student to teacher ratio low and allows for more hands-on instruction and attention. Students experience a sense of community and build long lasting relationships.
