Southgate Children's Academy

We are a locally family-owned childcare facility serving families with children age 6 weeks through age 6. We are conveniently located in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, but on a quiet private cul de sac. Our tuition includes all meals, snacks and milk plus 3 extracurricular classes in Art, Music and Fitness. We have excellent family references, with about 40% of our current families having more than one child enrolled. We follow the standards for the highest state rating (3 star) and utilize the Get Set For School curriculum, as well as weekly and monthly themes and many special events. We have two indoor and two large outdoor play areas; our playgrounds are larger than most facilities in the area with plenty of room to run and explore in a natural setting. Our philosophy is that children learn best through play in a safe, nurturing environment. Our emphasis in on the development of a sense of community, following our motto: where love and learning grow together. Children are well prepared academically and socially for kindergarten and thrive in our smaller, homey setting. Tours available for prospective families. We also hire well trained, positive and experienced caregivers.
