Great staff and Carmen made everything run smoothly. They are also reasonably priced. I was actually referred by a friend who also uses their services and I would highly recommend. I will use again if we ever needed those services in the future.

My first contact with Shining Star Home Care was a voicemail left by Francesca. I had 4 callbacks from different agencies including hers. Her message was so warm and caring they were the first company I called back and don't regret it. They came to my parents home to meet my mom and clearly define what level of care and services we needed and we interviewed 3 candidates to determine whom would fit my mom's needs and whom my mom would be most comfortable with. We are very happy with the carer that we selected from our three choices & my mom enjoys her company & is well cared for.
Shining star provide us with a great, reliable service and have a very efficient billing process which makes our monetary transactions very easy and stress free.
I would definitely recommend this company for the kind, compassionate service which they provide.

Shining Star is a care agency that all agencies should example after. The professionalism is grade A. Their integrity is not only reliable, it relieves stress because you know without a doubt that the Director and staff will put their all into finding the exact care you need. They are provable. I am a 50 year old disabled woman who's independent and on my own, Shining Star always makes me feel like they are watching out for my care needs like family would.

Carmen at Shining Star Home Care has provided 24/7 live-in care for my step mother for more than 3 years. Shining Star is an excellent care provider to work with and I would recommend them if you are searching for in-home care. Evelyn, my step-mother's caregiver has been excellent for these 3 years. My mom had undergone hip replacement surgery and after falling the day after she was discharged from the hospital, we quickly realized she would need more assistance over a greater length of time than we had planned for.

She answered all our questions, and was very clear in terms of what our options were, what the caregiver would provide, and what to expect.
Carmen arranged for us to meet with the potential caregivers to interview them and confirm we were comfortable with them. We had two caregivers that split the week up to care for my mother. Both were very helpful, compassionate and attentive. Most of all, we felt relieved knowing that my mom was in safe and capable hands.

We have used many firms, and Carmen is an excellent care manager/owner. We found an excellent caregiver to care for my wife who is a stroke survivor. She is still very active, but needs a companion

I found Carmen through Care.com several months ago. I spoke to her and she was very helpful and very nice. Unfortunately, our family member was not released from the hospital at that time afterall. Carmen kept in touch through emails a few times to let me know that she was there for us when we needed her. Eleven months later my family member was finally discharged so we called Carmen....she remembered us! I was so touched. Sometimes through and illness (as a family member) you feel sad and alone, but Carmen reassured me that she and her team would take great care of our family member. So far she has lived up to her word! Thank you Shining Star!
