DO NOT USE THIS PET SITTER.
Lisa and Pick of the Litter are usually great to do business with, BUT IF SHE CONTINUES TO PROVIDE SITTERS LIKE THE ONE WE EXPERIENCED, WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HER SERVICE.

We met with and paid a pet sitter(cat specialist) for 2 months prior to our vacation to ensure there was a friendly bond between our 2 cats and the "cat lover" sitter. We wanted a familiar feeling for our younger male cat as he needs a small pill daily.
Things seemed to be going well...but then a week or so before vacation, she missed an appointment without a call or notification, agency was as suprised as we were.
After a lame excuse, she showed up the next day and needed to vomit in our bathroom...and the visit after that she showed up asking for food, something to eat. Although I saw these RED FLAGS, we were 3 days away from leaving for vacation and were out of options.

We have cameras throughout the house and what we saw happening while we were gone was sickening.
Our simple sitting directions and hope for a peaceful pet home were shattered.

Simple instructions were not followed:
Directions to follow:
Give medicine (one cat)
Fresh food daily
Fresh cold bottled water
Keep cats seperated

Facts seen through video and pics:
Medicine was not given daily to our young cat.

No medicine means diarrhea for him... diarrhea that sometimes gets on his tail, and then finds its way all over the house when his tail touches something. IT WAS NOT CLEANED UP.

Fresh wet food was not given daily.
In fact, in the younger cats room, the wet food dish had not moved for days! When we got home, the food was dried into the bowl, black, hard, spoiled and ready to spawn maggots. There was no consistency, she seemed confused and frustrated and randomly completed our instructions.

Water was not given regularly...when it was given, instead of fresh cold bottled water as instructed, one cat was given warm jugged plant water and the younger cat recieved faucet water (we turned off the water for the trip, so he only recieved what was left on the pipes, until that ran out).
Cats were not kept seperate after a few days. We have a room divider that seperates the cats while we are gone. She would enter room to room and not close the divider behind her...so yes, of course the cat learned after a couple of days to follow her and then hide in the other cats space until she left.

It also appears from the videos that the
Fresh cans of wet cat food and cold bottled water provided for our cats were placed into the purse of the sitter and I guess taken home. This particular "cat lover" sitter seems to suffer from some behavioral issues or possibly addiction.
And finally, we scheduled her for an early visit on our return home day... she never came, she said she was could come at 4:00, but we were already home.
Our experience has been traumatic for our pets and my husband and I. It has been 2 weeks since our return from vacation and we are only now beginning to see and feel normal pet behavior. My cats were petrified of the door opening for the last couple of weeks and since our one cat was not given his medication while we were gone, we have been nursing him back to health.

We brought this to owners attention privately, and asked that she never put other pets into the situation we just experienced..."do the right thing Lisa... pets do not have voices...we adults need to make choices for thier safety."
We were not really satisfied with her response and felt an obligation to make this public so other consumers can make an educated choice before using this service.
