I applied for part-time work with this company - and let me tell you all about the unprofessional experience I had with the owner Dana Jackson and her assistant. I had a video interview with Dana on 6/28/2021. The interview went well at least that's what Dana said - we were supposed to move to the next step which was a background check - undoubtedly the assistant is incompetent because she was never able to send the background information to me via email. I reached out to Dana on 7/14/2021 regarding the background information because I had not heard from her or her assistant like she said. Then, on 7/15/2021 I received an email from her Marshaya Davis the assistant she was trying to send the information for a background check, and it turned out to be someone else information - yes someone else name, date of birth, address, age, phone number and social security number. Now how UNPROFESSIONAL is that!!!! I called Dana Jackson to inform her that her assistant had sent me someone else information while trying to send me the information for a background check. Dana, apologized for the unprofessional mishap - asked me to delete the information (but I didn't) and told me her assistant would resend me the information for the background check again. Here we go again - Marshaya Davis did it again - YES - she sent me the same thing again someone else name, date of birth, address, age, phone number and social security number - once again I reached out to Dana Jackson the owner to let her know it had happened again - same response from Dana she apologized for her assistant careless and unprofessional mistake. So, time goes by I never received the background information to proceed with employment for this company. On 10/1/2021 I reached out to Dana sending a text message and I leaving her a voice mail message. Dana sends me a text explaining she's out of town caring for a sick relative and she would be back in touch with me upon her arrival back to Birmingham. Well on 10/5/2021 at 2:34 p.m. I received a call back from Dana Jackson the owner telling me "I would not be a good fit for her company" - I'm not a good fit for your company because I voiced my concerns after your assistant blatantly makes the same unprofessional error twice. When you own a business, you should operate with some type of etiquette. The proper, professional and etiquette thing Dana should have done if she didn't want to bring me or anyone else on with her company would be to say, "we have already filled that position" or "at this time we are not doing any hiring - however we will keep your application on file for 90 days and you are welcome to reach back out to us". To call someone you have never laid eyes and tell them "you are not a good fit for my company" to me it's just unprofessional and very distasteful. I'm ok with that if that's how you feel but in my 35 years plus of employment I have NEVER and I do mean NEVER had someone be so UNPROFESSIONAL! Keep in mind this was just a PART-TIME job I was applying for and I stressed that to Dana at the time of the interview I only wanted to work 1 or 2 days a month. I am a full-time federal employee for over a decade so "I'm not hungry by no means". You have done everything wrong, and you feel like I'm a threat to your company so that's why you call to tell me "I not a good fit". I am a threat to Dana's company Paragron Senior Care because I spoke up against her unprofessional assistant mishap. What kind of owner are you to sit back and allow your assistant send out potential employee's personal information? I value where I work and what companies I affiliate myself with your company would be a big embarrassment to me! If it was not the personal information of the potential employee, I would share all that information but that would be wrong on my part. So please do yourself a favor seek employment with a company that will value your personal information - don't waste your time or energy with Paragon Senior Care it is a JOKE and very UNPROFESSIONAL!

I have been a caregiver for several years now and i can say that Paragon Senior Care towers head and shoulders above other care giving agencies. The caregivers in their employ possess the qualities families are looking for in those who care for their loved ones. They are caring, honest, dependable, hardworking and trustworthy. Paragon Senior Care has managed to find the cream of the crop.
