Our Nest Day Care

No two children learn the same. At Our Nest Day Care Hicksville, we recognize the unique capabilities and talents of all our children and tailor our curriculum to maximize their learning at each stage. It is our desire to bring quality child care to every child that attends Our Nest. At Our Nest Day Care Hicksville we have created a loving atmosphere for child care that is conducive to learning educational concepts as well as life skills and individuality. We strive to teach the children the skill of discerning between right and wrong. We also demonstrate positive values and encourage our students to model those values.

Our Nest Day Care Hicksville starts each morning with circle time in our playroom where the children share their stories and we welcome each other for the day. We use this time to introduce the children to songs, books and a brief lesson. We love Mondays because the children have so many stories of what they did with their family during the weekend and they love telling us all about it! We spend our days learning about Shapes, Numbers, Colors, Time, Days of the Week, Months, Alphabet, Phonics, Seasons, Weather, Sign Language and Spanish.
