I give NYT my best and highest reviews due to the excellent service that was provided to my daughter. My little girl was reading at a 1st grade level and she s 10 years of age. This was a major issue since I had used the Huntington service and Kumon with no results and er teachers were all ready to give up. It was a constant drag until I came across Marissa. She was more than thorough, she gave my daughter the tools necessary to read better or should I say read,since simple words were difficult for her. My daughter is now reading at her grade level and has no problems with comprehension, which Marissa has helped her with as well. I have recommended the service of New York Tuition to many of my family members and friends and they too have seen the remarkable work Marissa does. This would be my number one stop as a parent, give them a call and you too will see the benefits. Motivated, Personal, Caring, In-Depth & Thorough are the words I associate with NYT.

My son was having difficulty with math, he was working below grade level (5th). He also needed improvement with writing and had very little confidence in himself and academic ability. He started tutoring sessions with Marissa at least 2x/week for 8 months (started in October and continued even after exams). Marissa is intelligent, patient and is on point with schools and their curriculums but most of all she is consistent. She meets the child where they are and works with them from that point. I am happy to say that my child did pass the state city wide exams in both math and English and did graduate from 5th grade. He could not have done it without Marissa's help and most of all her encouragement. Marissa works with parents and their schedules, she maintains flexibility in scheduling tutor sessions. I highly recommend Marissa because of the excellent tutoring services my son received.
