We provide full medical management, customized supportive living services, home making, medication reminders, meal preparation, restorative exercises, errands and socialization.
We specialize in post rehab and post hospital stay especially for those with movement disorders, Parkinson's, PSP, strokes and generalized muscle preconditioning.
Our services fall under 3 categories:
#1. CARE-GIVING: services are provided by home health aides, companions and certified home health aides.
#2. Chronic Illness & Symptom Management: These services are designed to reduce frequent trips to the hospital and rehab facilities. The care programs are designed by nurses and geriatric care specialist.

This is the second time we employed the excellent personal care services offered by Lone Star (first in 2018 for my father). Isatou and one of her caregivers were at my home when my mother arrived from the hospital. This gave us gave us the opportunity to discuss what our expectations were for her care and better understand how they could help us. Each lady who provided care was professional, attentive, respectful and compassionate. They arrived for their shift with a positive attitude, ready to work and followed all appropriate health protocols without being prompted.. Each of them engaged with my mother as if she was a special friend and not just a patient; allowed me to step in without question when I wanted to be part of the caregiving and were empathetic to the emotions of the family during difficult times... allowing us privacy when needed.
Having these reliable and trustworthy people attentive and sitting next to my mom at all times, allowed me sleep at night or step away to take care of other needs. The level of service provided was definitely 5 Star... all we hoped it would be.

Isatou has provided care for my husband for over 1 1/2 years. She currently provides three caregivers for him. All are caring, compassionate, and professional. Isatou is very easy to work with, concerned that you get the care that you expect. She goes above and beyond in providing care for her clients.

Lone Star went over and beyond to full time staff our hospice needs for my father in law. They listened to my requests and found caring caretakers to assist in his daily needs. I found that when there was an emergency (car breaking down) the owner, herself came and filled in the gap. At no time during the 3 weeks was the caretaker asleep or inattentive. They were in my home and I could sleep at night knowing they had everything covered. They were sweet, compassionate, and gentle. This was during the pandemic and they also were willing to send me workers who didn't work with covid patients.

Lone Star has been wonderful to my mother and our family. We opted to try home health for my mother's rehab. She wasn't able to get around without assistance so we needed more help than rehab and nurses could provide.
We are so happy we chose Lone Star. The caregivers are well trained and go above and beyond with care. They help out not only with the physical aspects of care, but also with the psychology of care-encouragement and praise.
I would highly recommend Lone Star to anyone needing assistance with a loved one. The care is far above and beyond what we expected. Will use them again should the need arise.

Could not be more pleased with the care provided to my mother. Isotau, Martha, Evelyn, and Jessica are wonderful caring people. My mother looked forward to their visits and relied on heavily on their assistance during her recovery from surgery. All are especially kind and sincere in their efforts. Very much recommend!

Isatou and the caregivers who care for my mom are great, they truly are dedicated to doing what is needed to make sure my mom gets the care and attention she needs so she can continue to live at home. They are caring and have been a tremendous blessing and relief to us.
