I am a home-based Christian daycare blended with preschool curriculum. I have worked in Early Childhood for almost 15 years now and have two grown children of my own.
Over the last 10 years, I have seen a gradual decline in the quality of our children's education. Sadly, the focus has turned from educational results being evidenced in our children, to the learning center's desire to look good on paper.
In knowing that the first 5 years of a child's life are the most crucial, I want to offer families an opportunity to have their children attend a daycare/preschool that offers a small enough class size that allows for plenty of one-on-one learning while also being able to offer other lifelong skills such as proper socialization, problem solving, and team work.
I take pride in what I do and feel honored to be chosen to work with families and their children. I offer a curriculum that is a blend of Creative Curriculum/Teaching Strategies and Abeka. We assess the children's progress using Teaching Strategies 64 Goals and Objectives in the areas of Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies and The Arts.
Today, Kindergarten is more advanced than in the past. Children are expected to know a lot more when they enter into Kindergarten. My program is set up to have your child Kindergarten ready!
I offer a smoke free environment in a bright cheerful homey setting. My home has lots of natural light, which I love. We go outside daily, weather permitting. We supply snacks and healthy home cooked meals.
