Hello, my name is Laurie and I have been running my home daycare for 16 years now. I love my job, working, playing and teaching little ones makes me feel very happy at the end of each day. I have stayed with my families from birth to Kindergarten. It is always bittersweet when they leave our home for school. But I also feel very proud to send them off ready to take on their next adventure!
I am licensed with the state, Certified in CPR, First Aid and I do many hours of ongoing education in early childhood development each year. I have two teenage kids (16 years old & 18 years old) and they are also a big part of our day. (Truth be told, the kids squeal with excitement when my kids walk in after school each day!!)
