To whom it may concern:

It is my privilege to recommend Interim to you as a caregiver for your aging mother. They took wonderful care of my mother at home allowing her to stay in her house four years longer than she would have been able to stay otherwise. That made my mother very happy and was a blessing to the entire family. Interim caregivers are extremely compassionate and completely trustworthy. My family and I got to know Adam at our church eight years ago and felt so fortunate to have him care for our mother these last four years.

My mother was partially disabled from the effects of a stroke four years ago. She did not want to leave her home of over 40 years to move into an assisted living facility, but she was unable to live alone. When we heard Interim was available we made arrangements for Adam to move in with my mother and could not have been happier with the situation. My mother died peacefully in her sleep in her beloved home.

Laura not only helped care for our grandmother, she made sure to always include her in a conversation or activity. Our grandmother loved to cook, but as she become older and developed diabetes, cooking her usual food became a challenge with managing salts and sugars; however, Laura would light her spirits when she would ask our grandmother to teach her some traditional recipes. It was great having Laura care for our grandmother, Laura had a way of bringing a smile to her face.

During the time they were with my mom they showed great passion and patience with mom although at times she could try ones patience. Mom was on a walker the whole time and had to be helped in almost all of her daily activities, from getting up in the morning, fixing breakfast, giving pills, walking every hour, bathing, and going to the bathroom. They were always ready to help and do whatever needed to be done even if it did not involve mom. They helped us make the house safer for my mom by giving us suggestions on how to organize the clutter in our house. They went above and beyond including arranging a cleanup day which included the help of my sister and children. This would not have happened if they didn't take the time to help us see the value of working together to make the house a safe place for mom. We feel like we can't thank them enough and this experience has shown me that there are good people out in the world who really care.

My name is Josh and I live away from my mom's home so I am in no position to care for her day to day. Interim seems to have a universal love for seniors and finds nothing more worthwhile than caring for them. They have great communication skills and delight in the little achievements of my mom. Being far away I know the frustration of not being able to be there to provide hands on care. Interim has made this easy for me in that they provide the care that I wish I was able to give. Per my requirements, they do the grocery shopping and plan and arrange nutritious meals. Cooking, cleaning, laundry and ironing are also required. They provided time to write much of my mom's stories and have written some of her ancestry. Much of this information would be lost if they did not take time to record it. They were mature, passionate, trustworthy, and reliable, I welcome the chance to speak with anyone about how their education, experience and skills would be beneficial for your family. Thank you so much.

While caring for my Father, Interim performed a variety of daily activities. They assisted him with bathing, dressing, preparing and feeding meals and administering medications. They took my father for walks around the neighborhood every day, weather permitting, to allow him to get fresh air regularly. They drove my father to routine physician appointments and checkups. They took care of the laundry as well as changing bed linens and everything else that needed to be done.

We found that it was not necessary to hire a weekly maid service since Interim took care of the day-to-day household maintenance. The house was always neat and clean every week when my family and I visited, and my father was always in good spirits. Interim provided wonderful companions for my father, and he spent time in conversation with them to help keep his mind as sharp as possible.

Adam is honest, diligent and passionate about his work as a caregiver. While he cared for my mom he displayed his immense fervor by providing her with a reason to live each day. His presence at our house made it a happy and well managed place as he has the ability to display professionalism with a touch of personal attitude that makes him so popular. He has a profound habit of completing all his tasks efficiently and at times even sacrifices his free time to "spend a little more time with the mom."

Yanni provided a level of care that made me feel that she considered my grandma to be her grandma. She loved us like family.

Adam was very helpful when my mom became ill and could not care for herself. He was very understanding of our concerns and took care of many details at the end of life. We are thankful for his involvement.

Adam, thank you so much for all you have done for me. The first day went very well. You were right about putting her in the number one position. She's very bright, soft-spoken and pleasant. All attributes I was looking for. And the negative you mentioned was resolved. She traded in the Tahoe for a Ford Focus which won't be any problem for my getting in and out of her care. So, I told Daphne if all goes well she can work with me forever.

Thank you again and take care,

Cathy
